Notepad covers
I found these great notepads at Target that have a note pad and a 2010 calendar. So, I decided to make covers for them and to add them to our product list for the upcoming craft fair.

Craft Fair Products - Wine Tags
Well, it's Halloween night and we don't get many trick-or-treaters here at our house....and my internet connection is finally corrected...so here I am updating the blog :)
I made these wine gift tags for our upcoming craft fair. Instead of using a gift bag for the wine, these tags can be slipped over the bottle for a hostess gift.

Halloween Tic Tacs
At my house (Maria)....we never get a lot of Trick-or-Treaters. We finally had neighbors move in last year with two young kids - so we look forward to their visit. One of the girls is allergic to nuts, so I'm always careful about what Treats to provide. Along with some other candy - I decided to get some orange and red Tic Tacs and make a holder for them.
The holder is 3" x 4 5/8" scored at 2" on each side. I stamped my Studio G pumpkin and cut out the circle with a 1" punch. I colored in the pumpkin with Marvy Markers and used another Studio G sentiment and a 7 Gypsies flourish. To keep it closed I used a hole puncher and laced the ribbon through it! This is a really fast project and Cindy's made a bunch of snowman Tic Tac holders for our craft fair. Thanks for visiting!

Whip it up Wednesday
Wow - we've been whipping up the craft items for our upcoming fair (2 1/2 weeks to go!!!).
Here are some large acrylic clothes pins I picked up at Target about 6 months ago. I altered them with cardstock, patterned paper, scallop punches and some flower stamps. They are highlighted with glitter pen (which doesn't show up in my pictures) and some gemstones. They are finished off with some ribbon!!

Husband Survival Kit - Mojo 109
Wow - it's been about a week since I've posted to the blog - but we've been busy at work continuing our projects for our mid-November craft fair.
This week I worked on the Husband Survival Kit, which I lifted off of Jenn Diercks. This Survival Kit includes 5 cards for the husband to give to his wife. I used the Splitcoast Stampers tutorial for making an A2 box. I made a computer generated label for the box. Inside the box is a list of the imporant holidays with a place for him to write in his wife's birthday and their wedding anniversary.

Peppermint Patty Treats
Hello!! On Sunday - I was smiling from ear to ear as I was crafting away. Let me tell you why.....last Christmas, we hosted about 20 people for dinner and I made these table placecards to designate everyone's seat. I used Memory Box stamped images and DCWV paper. At the end of dinner, some guests took their placecards - and some left them behind. I couldn't throw them away - (not after all the work I put into them) so they sat in a drawer in my craft room up until Sunday........
I went in the drawer to look for something and found the placecards. I looked them over to see how I could "repurpose" them and then it came to me! I pulled off the "name" portion, I slid the ribbon up to the top and cut off the bottom 3". Then I took the pretzel bags I bought at Michaels and decided to see if my Peppermint Patty's would fit in them - and they did!
I decorated the PP's with my small scallop punch, 1 1/8" punch and a Studio G stamp. I was able to make 14 of them for our upcoming craft fair. I'm so pleased I didn't throw them away last Christmas and I'm even happier that I turned them into a product to sell at our craft fair.

Mojo 108 - Coffee !!
Here's is a birthday card I made for my friend Jill following Mojo Monday's Sketch#108. I used my Inky Antics stamp for the main image and a new stamp I bought from Inkadinkadoo for the background (script) image. The paper is from PTI and I used some random ribbon I had plus some circle punches and two stacked buttons. Our coffee girl is colored with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol.
The inside of the card has a Too Much Fun Rubberstamps sentiment that reads: DRINK COFFEE. Do stupid things faster with more energy.

Sunday Bucket Treats
Here are some mini-buckets filled with Hershey's Kisses that we will be selling at our upcoming craft fair. I used Inkadinkado stamps and stamped them with Colorbox pigment ink and embossed with clear powder. I used a PTI cirlce stamp for the center and snowflake brads to finish off the cirlce punch.
There is ribbon wrapped around the bucket but you can't see it from angle of the picture I took.

Saturday Santa Bags
Happy Saturday to all! Continuing on our upcoming craft fair projects, here's another bag topper I made last week. I used a 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 piece of red cardstock. Scored the 4 1/2 piece at 2 1/4 and folded. I used my sizzix buckle die and because I didn't have silver paper - I embossed the bucket with silver embossing powder. I used some "furry" white felt and a strip of black paper for the belt. Santa's bringing Hershey's Kisses as a gift.
The Hersheys Kisses will go inside this Santa felt bag. (For the fair we will add some tissue paper to prop the bag up - just didn't have it handy at picture-taking-time!)

TGIF!
TGIF everyone! Cindy and I have been crafting all week - but I (Maria) haven't been posting much - so I've taken pictures of some of what we've made and I'll post over the next few days! Our craft fair is less than a month away - so we're working on all of our projects. It's hard for me to work on Christmas items (although the weather in CT is making me feel like it's winter).
Today's project are these cute felt bags with the adorable penquin. We picked these up at T's last year. Thank goodness I have a lot of storage in my craft room. I made the penquin bag topper with peppermint patty mints.
Oh...before I go - just want to send out birthday wishes to my brother DJ - Happy 40th and my friend Jill !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I used a Memory Box penquin stamp as the main image. Then used a Sassafrass Lass stamp to create background patterned paper and for the peppermint patty covering. I used two scallop punches and some glue dots to adhere them to the patty.
Thanks for visiting today (and leaving comments if you like). We'll post again tomorrow with another project!Oh...before I go - just want to send out birthday wishes to my brother DJ - Happy 40th and my friend Jill !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

More Craft Fair Products
Here are a few more craft projects we've made for our upcoming fair. First are Nugget tins which we sold pretty successfully last year for $5.00 each. The stamp is by DeNami Designs and the sentiment is from MFT. She is colored with markers.
Here are post it note covers with pen. Paper is DCWV and Stamps are a combo of Autumn Leaves (flower) and 7 Gypsies (Butterfly)
