Craft Fair Products - Post It Notes

These post-it note covers with the Papertrey Ink "Green Thumb" stamp and sentiment were such a big hit for us at last weekend's craft fair....I decided to make a few more for our upcoming fair on the 5th. I used my new PTI "Polka Dot Basics II" stamp along the bottom in white as well.

Here's another design using Hero Arts background stamp. I cut a scallop circle with my punch, then used the dotted circle from PTI's "Take Note" set and embossed it in white. Then used a sentiment from the same set for the middle.

Lastly, I repeated the "Notes" background from yesterday's larger pad, added some paperclips and embossed the sentiment in white.

Craft Fair Products - Notepads

Well - Cindy and I decided to join another craft fair. We will be at the St. Phillip Church at 25 France Street in Norwalk on Saturday, December 5th from 9am until about 6pm. We "might" be there Friday - but are trying to see if another crafter wants the table that night. Either way - we've decided to make a few more items.

Cindy's working on some paper rolled ornaments, Reindeer "poop" and York peppermint patty treats and I found a few more notepads at Michael's that I decided to cover.

Here are a few that I did yesterday using Papertrey Ink's new GREAT set "Take Note"

I saw this background done on the PTI gallery and thought it was really cute...so I case'd it!

I worked on some post-it note covers today......and will "blog" those tomorrow!
Thanks for visiting!!!

Craft Show Christmas Cards

One more day until our craft fair!!! Each vendor has to provide a raffle item for the Church - so in addition to a couple of our previous highlighted items, I wanted to make a few Christmas cards to add to our basket.

I can't believe I was able to make all these cards (I made two of each) in a four hour period! They are not overly-detailed....but still - this is a record for me!

Here's an Amuse gal colored with Marvy markers. I used a MFT sentiment and a snowflake punch.
Card #2 is a Memory Box stamp with an Amuse sentiment. I ripped a few pieces of iridescent paper to make snowdrifts and used my glitter pen to highlight the snowdrifts. The penguins outfit is also highlighted with white puffy paint (but the picture doesn't show it!)

Card # 3 is a Savvy Stamp poinsettia stamped in Colorbox Pigment ink and embossed with iridescent powder. I used a Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder and an MFT sentiment.
Card #4 & #5 - were very quick to make. I used patterned paper and two Inkadinkado sentiment stamps.

Thanks for taking a peek today! If you're one of our local blog followers - Cindy and I will be at St. Leo's Church on Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT this weekend. Saturday from 10am - 6pm and Sunday from 9am - 1pm. There are A LOT of vendors at this show - so come by and support your local crafters!
Thanks!

Few more craft items

Well, ya gotta love a neighbor that comes and shops for Christmas gifts at your house before a craft fair!!! She went crazy buying some of our products so I spent the last few days making some more of projects I recently posted (and have done nothing else)...so here are a few repeats - but different designs:

I made a few more wine bottle tags. The paper is My Mind's Eye Bohemia collection. The pointsettia stamp is from Savvy Stamps and the sentiment is from MFT. For the center of the pointsettia, I colored it in with green marker and then used yellow glitter (from my google search - that's what pink pointsettia's looked like)
Here's the same paper and a Stampendous "Joy Brackets" stamp. I stamped in sepia and then used brown glitter on all the dots. It looks really great in person.

Here's an Inkadinkado stamp with some colorful ribbon. I can't remember who makes the paper.

I also made some more tea bag holders. All the stamps are from Papertrey Ink except for the Hero Arts: "You warm my heart".

Only 6 days until the craft fair, so we're just finishing up our last minute projects. We have a TON of products this year....so lets hope folks are in the buying mood next weekend!! Thanks for visiting!!!

Tea Bag Holders

Here are the individual Tea Bag holders that we will sell at our upcoming craft fair. I used Papertrey Ink's Tea for Two set and have been trying to match up the color on the tea bag packaging with the colors for our holder.
Here is the inside with another sentiment from PTI's Tea for Two set. I decided to use velcro to keep the holder shut. I like how that works instead of the ribbon.

Thanks for looking! Have a great day!!

Snowman Soup

(Sorry - this post is going out again) - There was a typo in my poem, so I tried to fix it, but I can't figure out how to save it with out re-publishing!!

Here are the family-size Snowman Soup packages Cindy and I put together yesterday. She found these great containers at T's and since we couldn't find individually packaged marshmallows - we decided to make it family size. (My tag is covering the adorable snowman image on the container!!!)

Inside is four packets of hot cocoa, a big bag of marshmallows, four candy canes and Hershey's kisses.

I then came up with this poem for the tag:

Gather up the family
To make some Snowman Soup
A fun treat for all to share
Especially in a group.

Pour the packet in a cup
Add marshmallows to whip it up.
Three kisses will make it sweet
With hot water, it can’t be beat.

Use your cane to stir it around
Sip it slow, so you don’t frown.
Enjoy your treat on a winter’s night
Snowman Soup – it tastes just right!

Thanks for stopping by!

Crafty Fair - Gift Card Holders

Yesterday I worked on these gift card holders for our upcoming fair. I used the largest Nestabilities scallop oval to make the card shape using my Big Kick.

I used an Inkadinkado ticket stamp and raised it up on dimensionals. I decided to use some Velcro circles to keep the holder closed. I cut out one of the "presents" with a 1" circle punch and pasted that onto another 1" circle, then I punched out a 1 1/4" circle - so that panel is pretty thick and won't rip when you pull on the Velcro beneath.
For the inside, I used the third scallop oval and another Inkadinkado stamp and added a glue dot so the gift card can be stuck on by the gift giver. Here's a picture of the back of the card as well. I used red-line glue to hold the ribbon on the 1" circle punch and adhered it to the back of the card so it would not come loose, then added our label for extra security and promotion!
These will be packaged in a cellophane bag with an envelope!
