The right shoes.....

Quick post today - I can't believe I actually made 5 of these cards Tuesday morning and I'm getting them blogged. These are just quick cards I made for the gals on the Allyson Rioux Memorial Foundation Committee. Our event was a big success (although our meeting is tonight - so we'll see how MUCH of a success it was).

I grabbed a PTI stamp and sentiment from their Green Thumb set to make these cards. I used Making Memories striped paper as well.
Just some blog business - when I was fiddling around with the comment moderation page - I messed things up - so I didn't see all the comments that came in until yesterday - so my apologies to those who didn't get a quick response from me!

And other news: Sadly, Skippy - my foster dog, is taking a ride today. Cindy and I are driving him 5 hours north of us to a sanctuary where he will live out his life. He has some deep seeded issues and I can't give him what he needs without jeopardizing his safety, my dogs safety and the safety of those who enter our home. I'm happy he has a place to go though.

My dog Lily, had to have surgery yesterday too, - so when it rains it pours. She did good through surgery and I even had them clean her teeth while she was "under". Hopefully all will be settled down again come Thursday.

Thanks for your visit. I won't be back home until late tonight - so I will return the comment favors then.

  2. What a cute card Maria. Love that paper you used too. Just wonderful.
So sad about Skippy. But at least maybe he'll be happy where he's going. I know you're going to miss him though.
