FTL128 & Embellish Challenge

It's Monday again! Hope you had a fun and productive weekend. I can't complain about mine. We had a really GREAT weekend at CT Humane Society and adopted out a bunch of great dogs! So happy about that!

I was also able to make a bunch of cards!  The card below is for two challenges.  Clean and Simple FTL128 sketch challenge and the Embellish Color Trends with birds.

After pulling out the appropriate colors for the Color Trends challenge, I used my Nestie die and stamped and embossed an Inkadinkado bird. Then I used my new Memory Box "Vintage Record Sheet" stamp with Vintage Photo distress inks over it and a PTI sentiment.  I embossed the two layers with my Cuttlebug swirl folder.  Some ribbon and pearls to finish it off!

Here's the Clean and Simple Sketch # 128

Here are the color trends for the Embellish blog:

Come play along with both of these challenges!!

As a side note - I've decided to try and sell some of my cards through my blog. You'll see I've added "Pages" above this post.  I've broken up the pages based on card prices. If you see any cards you'd like to purchase, send me an EMAIL.

Thanks for your visit!

It's a lovely card! I especially like the embossing pattern and the chocolatey colours you used. :D

Love this card with the two colors embossed in the background. The stamped image in the color on the paper is so perfect! Happy to hear about all the dogs that were adopted, love when they find homes.

Beautiful card! I love what you did here. You remind me that I need to break out this set and ink it up again.

Such nice colours and I love the distressed effect. Great card, Maria. Don't know how I have not been keeping up to date with your posts... just been so busy.

Glad that you had a humane weekend with the dogs. You mean that you actually adopted a bunch of dogs? What a kind soul you are, Maria.
