SFYTT April - Happy 90th!

My sweet neighbor takes wonderful care of her Aunt Kay.  She's turning 90 soon and Tracy asked me to make her a birthday card that used yellow, had flowers and referenced her "90th".   That seemed easy enough!

When both my mom and I purged some of our stamps, she was giving away this pansy one.......I decided to keep it!  I used it as my main image and colored it up with my prisma pencils.  I popped up the bottom-most pansy too!  I repeatedly stamped a PTI birthday sentiment for my green panel and Cuttlebug Swiss Dots for the other.  I used my Lawn Fawn letters to create the main sentiment and tried to make it wavy.

My card layout uses A Sketch For You To Try's April sketch and Kathy's Lily Pad Challenge Color Palette.  I'm also going to enter this in Linda's "Follow The Recipe" using brads.

Sweet Pea gets her staples out today! Yippee!!  She's doing pretty well. Starting to use all four legs on slow walks.  Have had a few minor scrapes w/ the Nolie & Buddy, but it's all an adjustment for her.  She'll 'get' it soon and realize she's got it good!   Have a great day!

Thanks for your visit!

Very charming... what a good idea to keep that flower stamp. And I like how you repeatedly stamped the birthday sentiment. So neatly done.

What a beautiful and happy birthday card, she will love this with all the dimension from the pansy to the embossing. Good luck to Sweet Pea, hopefully she feels better soon and understands sharing :)

Your card is lovely, and what a great idea to stamp the birthday sentiment to make a bg. ~Hugs!
