Mojo 134 - Happy Birthday

TGIF! Hope you had a great week and have some fun plans for the weekend! I'm hoping to get some cardmaking done this weekend, along with my other weekend routines!
I was asked to make a birthday card for "Bruce" who likes martini's!  I was also asked to include "Life is Good" on the card too!  So, I went to the Mojo Monday #134 for my layout.

Since it's for a man, I had to look through my stash for masculine paper. I found this Deja Views polka dot paper and found some complementing green, tan and blue paper and craft cardstock for the base.
I used my EK Success candle punch and highlighted the flames with yellow glitter pen. I grabbed my Studio G martini glass, colored it in with prisma pencils and markers and used glossy accents on the glass. I computer generated "Life is Good" and used a PTI sentiment on top of a cuttlebug tag.  Lastly, I used some Martha Stewart letters for his name.

For the inside of the card, I made a few layers and stamped out some Studio G martini glasses on the inside with versamark embossing ink, so it was subtle. I finished it off with a PTI sentiment!

Thanks for taking a look today and feel free to leave your comments!
Have a great day!!
Maria

Fabulous masculine card, Maria! Looks great, I'm sure Bruce will love it! So does any of your "non-postable crafting" have to do with those wedding invitations you were asked to make? :p Can't wait to see more of what you've been working on! Have a fabulous weekend!
