S&S Sketch #10 Cards

I stopped by the Stars & Stamps blog today and found Sunday's Sketch Challenge # 10.

So, I decided to play along today. It's rainy and nasty here in CT, so there's no better way to spend my day (except for a load of laundry!!)

I grabbed my American Crafts paper from the Letterbox collection which has birds and butterflies on them. What a perfect combination for the Studio G stamps I decided to use! I bought these from the $1.00 bin at Michaels. Yippee!
The center image is popped up. I finished it off with brads and used a Hero Arts sentiment.
For the next two cards, I used another Studio G stamp but I embossed them in clear embossing powder. Then I used the emboss resist technique with some chalk ink. I used another Hero Arts sentiment and some yellow floss for the tags.

Lastly, I stamped the images with blue chalk ink and popped them up. I added some nice glittery green floss and another Hero Arts sentiment. I added some glitter pen to the butterflies, which you can see in person!
I guess I should of kept the glitter off of the cards in order to send them to Operation Write Home, but since that's a No-No.....I will drop a few of these off to my neighbor who organizes our neighborhood Healing Hands program!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by today!

Wow, what a terrific set of cards! Love the bright and cheery colors. You've inspired me to pull out my G studio tag stamps and try them on this sketch. Thanks! And thanks for trying the sketch.

Great job interpreting the sketch - I love the staggered tags!

PS The glitter in the fibers *may* be okay for OWH - if it doesn't flake off all over, it's approved to use :)
