Good Times!!

Well, I pulled out my Distress Inks again for this card! I really love these inks but am still quite limited in the knowledge of what I can do with them. I need to take some time and watch some videos, so I can experiment more with them. I still love the results that I get with what I do know about them though!!

For this card, I embossed a Hero Arts cling stamp with silver embossing powder. Then I blended three Distress Inks to make my background.  I added a chipboard sentiment I had on hand and ran some ribbon through it.
This card is for our friends Jim and Nick, who just did a TOTAL remodel of their home. It is an old Mill house in the historic district of Norwalk. They started in October 2009 and moved back in last month. They did such a tremendous job planning the house and they had a wonderful contractor too.  We can't wait to start hanging back over there!!

Here is a BEFORE picture of the front: (the 3 season porch had already been demo'd on the left hand side)
Here's the AFTER:

Kitchen Before:
(And don't let this fool you - some of the BEST meals I ever ate came out of this kitchen!!!)

Here is the AFTER:

Yummmy!!! I can already taste some of Nick's wonderful food that's going to be created in this kitchen!!!
So, Congrats guys!!! Job well done!!

Thanks for visiting :)

Your card turned out perfect, great job using your distress inks.

The pictures of your friend’s house are really amazing. I bet they love the changes that were made and I'm sure they are glad to move back home again. What a pretty home, I'm so jealous of that kitchen!
