I really wanted to keep the laundry line on the base layer, so I ended up masking the inside and sponging around the edges to create a faux layer. I paper pieced the undies with PTI paper and I was originally going to color in the laundry basket, but then I wondered where I'd put the sentiment - so instead, I used my smoke grey ink to stamp the basket and then stamped the sentiment over it in black. I love the result!!!
Here's the sketch - you still have until Monday the 17th to play along!!!
Thanks for your visit!

How ca-ute this is! Absolutely brilliant take on that sketch. The laundry line just makes me smile. Love the masking you did to create layers. It's subtle, but eye catching. And I love how you did the sentiment. Fabulous!
You really nailed that sketch, this is so adorable :) Love how you masked the and sponged the outside and the laundry basket with the sentiment, all perfect. Have a great weekend.
Oh, I really love this! The sponging, paper piecing, and the sentiment are all so fun!
So cute and perfect for that layout! Love the stamping of the basket image behind the sentiment.
TOO cute! I thought those were real clothes pins!
