I won a paper pack of Tim Holtz distress core'dinations - so I cut a square piece that would fit the stamp and used sandpaper all over it. Then I stamped and embossed the keys with clear powder. Once that cooled, I started adding Distress Inks to the image and the keys popped. I added a few layers and brads and finished it up with a Lawn Fawn banner and a PTI sentiment.
Here's the sketch, but you've got to get your entry in by today!!
Thanks for your visit!

This is great, the keys look like they are part of the paper. Love the rich colors almost like a leather. Awesome job with the sketch, I just cannot do sketches they just intimidate me :) Have a great day, heard the weather is a bit nicer.

Great card, Maria! That key image is just perfect for a masculine design. I love the emboss resist you did and love the neutral color palette. The bits of white really pop with the neutrals, and I just LOVE that. :)
What a striking card Maria and just perfect for a male!
Thanks for joining us at AnnaBelle Stamps this week.....Good luck!
gorgeous, love the key stamp!!!!
nice card but i am curious as to why, when you posted my card, you didn't say something like "obviously it had to be masculine"?
Wow, that is gorgeous! the rich colors make it a perfect masculine card too. Happy Birthday to your brother!
Hi Maria, I really like how you used this HA stamp! The design is perfect for a guy! Wish your brother a happy birthday, too! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Very elegant and stylish for a masculine card! Wonderful way you did the "keys". Know your brother is going to like this Maria.
