If you made it through all that....I wanted to share the picture of my birthday cake, which was made by a recent Sacred Heart University softball graduate (remember, I helped the team the past few years). She just graduated pastry school so I wanted to have her make my cake. I asked for a pumpkin fall theme cake and here's what she made:
I loved the pumpkins and the leaves. Shannon did a great job!!!
To thank her for the cake - I made her this card:
I started following Dorcas Designs blog and I love how she colors her images with prisma pencils on kraft cardstock, so I wanted to try it. It's a bit different than on white paper, but I think I did OK.
I'm going to set up one more post for Tuesday, but then I'm taking the rest of the week off from blogging. Our craft fair is this coming weekend and with the new foster, I will be quite busy. I hope to stay up to date on my blog visits, but can't promise anything for sure!!!
Thanks for your visit!

Great card! I really like all of the cool detail using kraft as the background. The coloring looks awesome. I wish I could color with my pencils and Copics better. You always create such pretty shading on your projects. Hope you have a great week, Maria! Hugs! :)
