Much Love

Hello!!  Hope you are having a great week!  I decided to go back to my new favorite Hero Arts background stamp and make another card.   This time I stamped it out on watercolor paper with Stazon and colored it in with Distress Inks and water.  (last time I just used the sponge daubers to color)

I cut out a Sizzix oval tag, stamped a MFT sentiment and added a few pearls.

My only regret is that my Stazon didn't totally stamp the background in black.  I re-inked the pad before stamping.  Anyone have any tips on better coverage?

Thanks for your visit!

I love your card, lie like the way the background is. I read that Vivid gives better coverage for solid stamps so that is what I grab, it seems to work better...Your card is lovely and I me thinks I see a CASE coming on :) It is really striking with the background in black and the pink flowers. Have an awesome weekend.

Very posh, Maria...

Now to your question about Stazon not totally stamping the background... sometime with these jumbo stamps this happens. Maybe the paper had a texture to it? Or maybe there needed more pressure? Don't know whether it makes sense...

The ribbon is so divine. Beauty!

WOW! Stunning card! And I actually like the black background not being totally solid black! Beautifully done with the distressed ink.
To get a more solid color I'll put a piece of foam type stuff under it. I have one that I use that came with a CTMH stamp set....It sometimes works pretty good.

Absolutely gorgeous, Maria! I really like how te soft pinks pop off te black background. I like the background the way it is...it gives a subtle distressing which looks really cool. Have a great day! :)
