CFC48/FTL186 - For My Mother

Happy Monday!!!!!!  Hope you had a great weekend!!!  We had a busy one!  Out with friends on Friday night for tapas.  Went to NYC for dinner on Saturday night.  Went to Mohegan Sun Casino on Sunday to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday and are spending a 1/2 day in Mystic, CT today!  I'm going to need a BIG NAP today when I get home!!

BUT.........on Friday - I was able to play around with some new purchases from Papertrey Ink!  My first purchase is the Harvest Berry die and stamp set!  I had been eyeing this set awhile and decided to finally get it along with a few other sets (yah!)

Well, just in time the Clean & Simple sketch #186 came out which worked perfectly for this set.  I also played along with the CAS-aul Friday's 'Opposites Attract' challenge #48:

I'm not sure who makes the sentiment stamp.  There was nothing on the wood block - but I really like it!  Anyways.....not much more to tell, but you will see this set used a lot more in the future!!!

Thanks for taking a look!!

Wow, what a busy weekend, how do you fit it all in??? I would have dropped by Sunday morning! Sounds like a fun one and now you have all that warm weather coming. Love your card, this is so rich with the colors and the linen like background. I love that stamp/die set, so perfect for this. Enjoy Mystic.

Wow - this is beautiful! Love the color combo, those dots along the upper and lower edge of the sentiment layer, and also how you put a piece of the die at the bottom right hand corner. Very, very pretty card!!
