Potato Optional.

Today's card was inspired by Vicky Papaioannou's butterfly card.  She also posted a How-To tutorial on the Lily Pad blog, which made me want to make this card. If I had butterflies, I would of made a very similar card, but I only have a few stamp AND die combinations.  So........the Papertrey couch had to do!

If you go see the video - you'll understand the technique, but she used her die cuts to on the 2nd layer and then layered the stamped die over the opening.  The butterflies are more 'fun' because she bent the wings up so it's 3D.  I couldn't really achieve that with my couch.....but the pillow is popped up!  LOL

Here's a close up of the die cut 'hole' and the layering.

Go check out the tutorial and it will all come together :)

Thanks for your visit!

Haha, the sentiment made me laugh and the cushion pops out just like a real one.
