HA September Challenge - Thankful for friends

In stark contrast from yesterday's card (which I didn't like)...........I LOVE THIS CARD!!!  I must be bipolar when it comes to my cardmaking. One day I feel like a complete novice and the next I feel like an 'artist'!

I made this card to enter it in the Hero Arts September challenge.

They combine a bunch of challenges together so I tried to participate in two of the three:

September Challenge: Create a NEW stamped project based on any of the following…
  • Fall Feast - All things Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving

  • Color Challenge - Create a project using the color palette below for inspiration. Color challenge projects can be of any theme.

So - to start - I embossed the Hero Arts stamp with Antique Linen Distress Ink and clear powder on watercolor paper.  Then I colored in the image with my Distress Markers.  Slowly layering the color from light to dark.  Then I used my new PTI set for the sentiment. And added button and bakery twine to finish it off.

This card definitely has to go to someone special - one who won't throw it away (or if they want to - I'll have them mail it back to me! LOL)

Have a great day!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your visit!

Hey Maria, this looks prettier than any designer paper... what AWESOME colouring there. Love the colours as well. Super card and so glad that you like it. Sometimes other folks like our cards more than we do.

Love,

Monica
