My niece's birthday is coming up and her grandmother (my mom) said that she likes fairies...so I pulled out my Studio G stamp to make her a birthday card! I card layout is from this week's 365 Cards Sketch# 352.
I reached for my American Crafts paper, which I've fallen in love with. You can't tell from the card, but a few of the yellow butterflies are covered with glitter. I stamped the image twice, cutting out another set of wings and popped them up. I used my Nesties for the panel and added the stars around the edges. The fairy's wings are colored with glitter pens. I used a MFT sentiment and created my own flower.
For the flower, I used my "raindrop" punch and cut out eight "drops" then I started layering them on a small piece of cardstock to make a flower. I added a button and a rhinestone and I had a flower!!! I finished it up with my Martha Stewart border punch and some ribbon.

Super card! Such a clever idea for the flower. So pretty.
Very nice card, that flower is just great, I love that you made it! I think I have that stamp too but haven't used it in a while. Happy birthday to your niece!
Very cute. Love the flower and the colors you chose! Thanks for playing at 365 Cards.
