In the neighborhood where I live - we have a nice neighborhood association. Although my hubby and I aren't TOO active with it - they do a lot of nice work for the 'hood. One of my neighbors is heading up the "Helping Hands" committee which will arrange meals, transportation, companionship for those in the community that are sick or experience a death in the family. She asked if I would make some cards for the group....and of course, I had to say YES!

So, before I had a chance to clean my desk off from my scraps. I decided to make a few quick cards. The first card is made with American Crafts "Letterbox" paper, a PTI sentiment and Studio G butterfly. This went together really quick for me!

The second card was based on a 365 Card Sketch from last week. The papers are from Stemma with a Hero Arts sentiment. Definitely a CAS card - but I wanted to get her some cards before I head out of town again!

Hope you are having a great day today! Thanks for popping in!Maria[Photo]

So nice of you to make these cards for your neighborhood association. I'm sure the recipients will appreciate them deeply. Love the bright colors on the sympathy card, and I think the butterfly images are just perfect for a sympathy card. Your flower card is super cute, too. I really like the texture of the papers and the button is the perfect touch.

Love both of your cards, Maria! The butterfly one is just beautiful, and that clean and simple one is just too much fun! That flower is so unique, I love it! Great cards!
