This is my friend Gisela (in white) and I (Maria) before the 5k run! We looked pretty good -thank goodness there were NO CAMERAS when we finished the race!! HA HA
My in-laws, Viola and Skip came too and walked the 1.5 mile loop in support!
Here's my brother Lou along with my nieces and our friend's children waiting for us to finish the race! (little did they know, we had finished about 20 minutes prior and were waiting for them on the other side of the pavilion!!!)
This is my hubby Frank (who has Lyme Disease) with our Team Lovello sign and our two nieces and one nephew!!!
I completed the 5k in my best time EVER! 24 minutes and 56 seconds! (I was sprinting at the end to complete it under 25 minutes!!). Our other friend Kristen finished around 26 minutes and Gisela finished in 27 minutes!) Great work ladies!!! We were so happy to have our friends and family come out to support us!Thanks Beth, Nagi, Liz, Lou, DJ, Jason, Caroline, Kristen, Gisela, Skip, Vi and all the kids too!!!!

As someone who suffered with Lyme's Disease for several months last year, I appreciate your efforts.
Yowzers, that is an excellent time Maria. You must be an excellent runner. I have also run a bit in the past few years, but nothing like that time. Congrats!!
