TLC237 - Happy Birthday

Good Morning!!! First off, I have to wish my Mother-In-Law Viola (Big Vi) as she's referred to a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I'm don't think she gets my blog feeds - but wanted to wish her a terrific day anyways. She's a wonderful woman and I'm BLESSED to have her as my mother-in-law!!

On to her birthday card!!! I played along with Splitcoast Stampers Try a New Technique Challenge # 273 "I've Been Framed" The challenge was to make a frame on your card. Below is what I came up with:

I started off by using a Nesties square die on the face of the card. After cutting it out, I used that same die plus a larger one and cut a frame out of the plaid paper. Next I stamped MFT "You Take The Cake" gal and colored her in with marvy markers and a watercolor brush.

I placed the image on top of another square nesties die and added the sentiment inside.
