Today I'm posting both Father's Day Cards I made. First is for my dad, Dominick. He's a big fisherman. Loves to fish - always has as long as I can remember. I remember going out on the boat as a young girl to fish with him. Now when we visit my parents in the winter in FL, he's out there fishing every day! So, it's only appropriate that I made a card w/ fish on it!
I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch# 143 for my layout. I grabbed my Impression Obsession stamp and stamped it out twice. I cut the first one with my Nestabilities scallop circle. I colored up both images with prisma pencils and gamsol. I added glitter to the bubbles and clear embossing pen to the waves. I cut out the second image of just the fish and popped him up. I used the Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder for the background and then stamped the sentiment with Martha Stewart letters.
Here's a picture of my dad and I from last week :)
For my father-in-law's card, I used a new stamp image from Mo Manning through Stamping Bella. My father-in -aw has a garden in his yard and is trying to grow tomatoes - so I thought this image would make a nice Father's Day Card. I used the Sweet Spot Sketch #60 for the layout. I used my Cuttlebug circle embossing die for the background. Colored the image in prisma pencils and gamsol and added a MFT sentiment and gardening tool. I had some pepper ribbon and thought I'd use that for the gardening theme and lastly a watering can button!
So, I'm sending out HUGE Father's Day love to my two dads today! I love you both :)
Thanks for stopping by today!
