Hero Arts Thank You

So, this card looks SO MUCH BETTER in PERSON!!!!!!! It's getting quite disappointing for me because I can't get pictures that really show what my cards "actually" look like! But there's hope......we had a new neighbor move in down the street and he is a PHENOMENAL photographer!!! Now...I just gotta get around to asking him to give me some tips!!!

Anyways...on to the card. We were hosted for a lovely dinner on Wednesday night of last week and I wanted to send our hosts a thank you card! I knew I wanted to use this Spoon & Fork cling stamp from Hero Arts. I stamped it in light pink Colorbox ink and embossed in clear. Then I used my orange Distress Ink to bring in the color. I spritz it with water and my new Perfect Pearls (OMG-why did I wait so long to buy this??) and the shimmer was just AWESOME! (but you don't see that in the picture!!)
I used a Papertrey Ink diecut and sentiments down the left side and decided to cut the border on the right handside. Added some ribbon and it was finito!

Well, thanks for droppin' in today!
Maria

I can see some lovely shimmer in your card! I love the yellow and pink together! Maybe *I* need some shimmer spray, too!!

Looks precious! Love the colors you used too. I hate it that all of my cards never look as good in the photo. So if you figure out the secret, CALL ME!!!! Oh, and you could also send your neighbor down to give me some lessons! HA!
Your card really does look cute Maria, and I know it's just gorgeous.
