I was asked by one of the gals at the CT Humane Society to make something to showcase her new baby's foot and hand casting. I had never seen this type of casting before, but OMG - they are so adorable! What a great way to stop that moment in time, huh???
Well, this is what I came up with:
I bought a wood box from Joann's and then covered it with paper from Stemma with decoupage. I used a few border punches around the edges and on the corners. I used a corner punch for the four corners and added some bling on each.
I cut out her name with my Sizzlet "curly girl" dies and then glued the castings on with E600 glue. I didn't take a picture from the other sides, but two of the ends have hand prints and the other two have footprints.
I'm pleased with the result! I will be bringing this up to Tania today - so hopefully she'll be happy with it too!
Thanks for stopping by today!!
