Ohhhh, I'm REALLY happy how this card came out!!!  I don't often pat myself on the back for the cards I make, but I really like this one.  This is a Hero Arts Cling Stamp called "Poppy Background".  I've used it on a few cards, but I wanted to do something different.  I went on the Hero Arts site and saw THIS card by Nancy Taylor.  Her coloring inspired me.
I decided to emboss the background, which DOES make it harder to color in with prisma pencils (you can't use gamsol or it will break down the embossing) - but I took my time and used my blender pencil.  I used a large EK Success scallop punch and a few flower brads that I had and layered it all on kraft cardstock.

I made three of these cards and they will be sold at SPLURGE in Greenwich, CT.  Yippee!!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Just beautiful Maria! The coloring is great and does look like you had to have a lot of patience with that. But it paid off since it's just gorgeous.

Wow, wow, wow!! That embossing makes such a stunning background for those beautiful flowers! Great coloring job, even if you couldn't use your gamsol!
