Memory Box Christmas

Just a quick post for this Saturday........my neighbor asked me to make her Christmas cards this year, so I was trying to come up with some ideas to show her.  This is not the card she chose, but I thought it came out cute enough to post!
I stamped the background with a distress ink (can't remember what color) and then stamped the bird on a branch over it. I colored it in with my markers.

I'm going to try this again using the emboss resist technique too.......can't wait!

Hope you have a great Saturday!
I want to wish my brother DJ and my friend Jill a Happy Birthday today!!!

This is very pretty - I took a class from Dave of memory Box about three weeks ago - watercoloring and coloring with colored pencils. We used this stamp on one of the cards.

I really like the simple layout here. It makes the bird really stand out. The traditional holiday colors are great!

What a pretty card that is... I have decided to become your follower as you can see because I love your cards. I would be delighted if you follow my blog too but incase you don't I will still come and visit you... Just kidding about the follower bit! But I will visit for sure.

Thanks for visiting me and your kind comments.
