Well, I guess I took Sunday-Tuesday as the days of rest from my blog postings!!! But now I'm back for a few days of cards.
After cutting some bases for other cards, I had some odd size sheets left over, so I decided to make some square cards, but ones that would fit into a regular A2 envelope.
I started with the snowflake paper from the Hobby Lobby Xmas pack and colored in the centers with green. I punched out two Marvy snowflakes and covered them with fired brick distress ink and spritz with water and perfect pearls for a nice shine. I measured out 5 1/2" and placed the snowflakes accordingly on the side of the card. Added a snowflake 'bing' and some ribbon I had. Nice and easy!!
Hope you're having a great day. It's freezing in CT and I just spent 2 hrs walking the shelter dogs, then a 1/2 hour outside with my dogs and my neighbor's dogs and I'm just thawing out!
Off to work out....so I'll be sweating in 10 minutes!!

This is so pretty! :) I love the snowflake. Is it the ink that you used that gave it that textured look, or the way you applied it?
I love this card, the distressed edges and the snowflake has so much sparkle.;) Try and stay warm.
Beautiful Christmas card! That snowflake is really pretty - and yes, I can almost see the shine! Amazing that that ribbon matches everything just perfect!
Sorry you guys are freezing up there - we're suppose to get up to 78 degrees today!!!! But then it's suppose to cool down tomorrow I think. Stay warm.

Wowza! I love this! What a gorgeous, shimmery snowflake and how you stamped the sentiment on the ribbon. Totally awesome!
Enjoy your work out! Life has been interferring with my work out schedule and I haven't gotten there regularly in 2 months. Arrrgh! Thank goodness I haven't had time to bake or I would be even pudgier.
Have a great week end!
