Anyway, following the tutorials by Cheryl and She Stamps and Jennifer McGuire's Hero Arts video, I decided to try one of these folds. It was easy but a little time consuming. I had to make 10 of these. And I learned that you can't just do any width. The red fold below was 1 1/2" by 11". I wanted to make a second bigger layer 2 1/2" by 11" and after I cut all the papers and folded all of them..........when I went to push it into a circle......it wouldn't open!! UGH! So, lesson learned for me!
But anyway......I used my Hobby Lobby Christmas paper. Layered the red fold onto black and then spritzed it all with perfect pearls and water. I added the button with glossy accents and a Sizzix die cut for the tag.
And.......OMG - I made these Nutella Rice Crispy Treats from THIS blog and I can't STOP EATING THEM!!
And finally - our New Year's Eve celebration was fun. Our neighbor's hosted a terrific dinner and we actually stayed awake until 12:35am. We played Wii Dance Party Two and holy cow - lot's of fun and laughter. I'm off to Target today to pick up that game!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

And....why are you so stingy with the Nutella on top there?!?!?! Hehe....
REALLY, REALLY pretty! Seems to me those things must have taken alot of patience!! But, worth it as they're so nice.
Your Rice Krispy's look pretty tasty too!

Maria....these X-mas decorations are so stunning!! I love the red and black! I haven't tried to make one of these things yet, I'm a bit scared =)
Wow - the place setting look fabulous. I bet your guests loved them.
I learned something from your post. I didn't know you couldn't fold at any measurement. I have just winged it for mine and luckily they worked.
Happy New Year my friend!
