Sorry for your loss.......

We've had another doggy loss............my neighbor's dog Max - a beautiful brindled pitbull-mastiff.  They rescued Max from our City Animal Shelter probably about 5-6 years ago at the age of 5 and he was a big moose - what a fantastic dog.  But in the past few months, he started suffering from some seizures and maybe even a stroke.  They had to make the tough decision to give him peace.  I sent the family one of the dog sympathy cards I made last week, and my other neighbor Tracy asked me to make one for her to send to them.

Here's the card:
I love seeing the layered stamp look on cards, although I never tried it myself. This time the thought came to me after I stamped the sentiment and wanted to add something else to that panel.  So, I grabbed London Fog and stamped the doggy over the sentiment.  I'm really happy with the result.

RIP Max! You were a wonderful wonderful doggy!

Thanks for your visit!

Aw, shame.... :(

But it's a cute card. :) That doggy stamp is adorable. And the paw print paper.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you have to make all of these doggy symapathy cards lately. :( I really like that sweet little pup image with the sentiment and your pretty mix of papers. This is beautiful and I'm sure will be cherished by Max's owners.
