Doggy Sympathy

I feel like Debbie Downer when I have to post my doggy sympathy cards..........but....it's a fact of life...we lose our loved ones and we lose our loved pets!   My friend Carol asked me to make her a sympathy card for her friend who lost her dog.  I once again turned to my DCWV paper pack and used what I later learned to be the last Get Sketchy sketch.

I used some RAK pawprint ribbon from Kathy, a  Hero Arts sentiment and of course...some bling.  I actually did some work on the inside too, but forgot to snap a picture!

I've been pretty SORE this week from my new workout routines for the Smallest Winner contest I'm in....but I guess that means I'm making some changes!!!  Hope you have a great Saturday!

Thanks for your visit!

This is a really touching and warm card, so thoughtful of you to think of your friend's friend. It is never, ever easy to lost a pet as they are truly the warmth of our hearts. Our sweet doggie has termincal cancer and declines a little bit more each day, and I just can't fathom "the day" - we are watching her closely and she's still eating, active, walking, playing ... but you know :) This is a great shape, love the design and I'm sure it will bring her some comfort! Peace and hugs all the way around!

This is such a perfect card, but such a hard thing to make. Our animals are so much part of the family, so I sure the person receiving this will really appreciate the thought and care you put into it.

I get very upset about this subject - I really hate to even think about losing one of my dogs... but, I have never thought to create a sympathy card for someone who has lost their pet. That's actually a very nice gesture Maria. TFS.
