Hello? Anyone there??

Does anyone remember me? Or....do I need to re-introduce myself??  lol..........

So...what I thought would be a return to blogging this week..........has resulted in an even MORE extended break......but only for good reasons!!!

Remember that other volunteering gig I do.........helping out my college softball team, Sacred Heart University? Well, they've made it to the NCAA Regional Tournament!!!!  Can I get a whoop-whoop??

Yes...........and what does that mean??  Ms. Maria is flying out to College Station, TX.....home of Texas A&M on Wednesday!!!!!!  Hello.......Kathy.....Lynn......Anne Marie? You Texas gals anywhere near College Station???

The games start on Friday and we play Texas A&M first (top seed in bracket).  You can follow along HERE.  Go PIONEERS!!!!!!!!

So, what I thought would be an easy and relaxing week has turned in to A LOT of shuffling!!!!

Also........we've found a place for Haylee in North Carolina.........so I'll be driving her down there the first weekend in June (yippee!) with my co-volunteer Gretchen.  Thanks to all of you who posted good wishes for her :)

Oh - by the way........our Allyson Rioux Memorial Foundation fundraiser went great!!  We had a PERFECT blue sky day and temps in the mid-70's for the golfers.  The Celebration Dinner was terrific and I was just TRULY AMAZED at one of our beneficiaries.....a 45-year old mother of two who had a MASSIVE stroke on December 26, 2010 and CAME TO THE DINNER and was WALKING AND TALKING!!!  A true MIRACLE!!!

OK - just wanted to post this update and let you know I am STILL around!!!   Just not around 'blogger'.

Seriously - Texas girls - let me know if you are close to A&M :)

Thanks for your visit!

You are one busy lady!!!! Glad to hear about Haylee, hope that works out. We are about 4 hours north of College Station, it is closer to Houston, than Dallas :( I will be routing for y'all, that is so wonderful, Congrats!!! Congrats also on the fundraising event, that is so great and what a miracle for that mom. You are a true blessing to so many with all you do :)

No, we haven't forgotten you!
Glad the benefit went good and you had pretty weather and also really glad you found a place for Haylee!
Now, on to the ball game!!! Great news! Actually A&M is about 4 hours from me -Sniff, sniff! My son graduated from there before he went to law school at Texas Tech but I'll go ahead and yell for your team on this one! I will try to catch it on TV - depending on what time yall play as we're going to be in Waco then - that's probably a little closer to Aggie Land but my brother is giving a talk at the Texas Ranger Museum on his latest book he wrote and so I can't get out of that one! I'll be with you in spirit though and wish your team good luck! Just remember when all those Aggies start hollering Whoop, Whoop - you need to holler back WOOT, WOOT!
Hope you have a great time!

Hi there! Of course we remember you! Lol! Yee haw, your coming to Texas! Congrats on getting to the tournament. That is awesome news! College Station is about 2 1/2 hours from me. :) How long will you be here??

I'm so happy you found a place for Ms. Haylee, too. Such a sad thing about the other place, but at least you know she will be safe and well cared for.
