I stamped the images on watercolor paper and then colored them in with Distress Ink. On the second card, I used a There She Goes poppies stamp for the background along with a Hero Arts stripped background stamp. The sentiment is from TSG's too.
Edited to add: OK - this is FREAKY!!!! I typed this post up Saturday about 5:30 PM. I went in my living room to watch a little TV and turned on the movie Leap Year which I've been watching on my TIVO over the past two months. Would you believe this was the first scene?
No Joke!!!! Twilight Zone!!!
I stopped the movie...did a double take and then took a picture. Weird!!!!!!!!!
I think it's a sign it's time to buy some REAL poppies and plant them in my yard!!!!
Thanks for your visit!

That is definitely a sign, so funny to turn on the movie and see that. Your card is a work of art, gorgeous with the coloring and the colors. I am starting to like poppies with those bright colors as well.
Wow you make me want to get some poppies, your coloring is beautiful where do you find the time? and yes regarding the movie it is so amazing when things like that happen in the universe.
Whoa!!! Kinda scary to do the post and then see that!!!
LOVE your cards though and the poppies look real. So cute and pretty.

I have 2 oil paintings in my dining area that are Poppies. I just love them too!! I would like more, as I have started seeing more of them, but there is no more wall space!!
