Well, with all the leftover scraps left on my work desk from the cards I posted yesterday..........I went ahead and made a quick birthday card!
I used my purple Distress Ink to ink up a Hero Arts scroll background stamp. Then I used Papertrey Ink's button bits balloons stamp and sentiment to complete this quick card!!
Today - we're on the road AGAIN with Haylee..............the dog who we held the tag sale fundraiser for three months ago. After one unsuccessful trip to a sanctuary in New York, and another unsuccessful interaction with an older dog in NJ...........we got Haylee into a sanctuary in North Carolina. So Gretchen, a co-volunteer, and I are driving to North Carolina over the next two days with our beloved Haylee.
She was such an awesome girl at Patty and Doug's and I know they are super sad they can't keep her themselves, but their dogs and her just don't mix perfectly. So we're hoping and praying this place is what it promises to be. Please keep Haylee in your thoughts today and tomorrow!!
Another 40th birthday shout out to my Julie!!!
Thanks for your visit!

Congrats on being featured, it is a gorgeous card. I just discovered Lily Pad a couple of days ago and love it. Your birthday card is so pretty with the scroll background and the little balloons. Good luck, stay safe on your trip and prayers to all especially Haylee, that she gets a permanent home. :)
WOOHOO!!! Congrats on your win! Very exciting!!!
Pretty card Maria...like the use of that distressed ink too. Lovely.
Keeping my fingers crossed about Haley. Hopefully this will be a good home for her.

Lovely purple, Maria! I also like the little detail of overlapping the balloon strings onto the sentiment strip.
Good luck with Haylee's new home...I hope everything works out for the girl this time!
