Suck it up Stella!

It's Friday! Yah! (well, it really doesn't mean TOO much too me, since I don't work right now)...but I'm celebrating for the rest of you who are counting down the hours 'till the weekend!

Today's just a quick post of a card I sent up to a friend who turned 40 this July.  All my high school friends are turning 40 this year....even me :)   Thankfully, I really don't have a problem with 'age' - so bring it on!

Anyways....this is a Stamping Bella Stella on her vacuum.
She's colored up with my prisma pencils.  I followed a sketch but who knows what sketch it was at this point!  I gotta say, I wasn't TOO thrilled with my choice of distress inks for my shading around the edges - just a bit too dark.......but.........hopefully my friend didn't mind too much!!

Hope you have great plans for the weekend!!!  Have a great one :)

Thanks for your visit!

What a fun card! Love Stella, I need to work on funny cards :) The background is great so bright and the shading is fine. Your friend will just love this. No plans for the weekend, finally, maybe just getting the house cleaned, since book club is coming to my house on Monday night. First time want to make sure the house shines :) Lucky will be in his glory a house full of people. Have a great weekend.

Cute card, Maria! That image and sentiment just make me smile. I love the background paper, too. Looks like she's been spinning around the background on her vacuum! :)

Your distressed ink choice is PERFECT! Such a funny card! Forties is the new thirties so what's the sweat about? Lol.
I am thirty five by that theory and going on 30 - really! I mean 45, but shush, don't tell that to anyone...
