Bellarific Friday & Less is More!

TGIF!  Hope you all had a great week and are happy that it is Friday!!!  I had a great week despite our Lily news, but she's happy as a clam right now - so we're all happy too!

Today I have two cards for you so I can get them both in for their challenge deadlines!

First up is the Stamping Bella Bellarfic Friday challenge.  This week was a sketch challenge.  It was so gorgeous here in CT today - I was able to color out on my patio - for probably one of the last times this year.  Now it was super windy - so I had to make sure my paper didn't fly away and my pencils didn't roll off the table - but it was nice to sit outside and color!
This is a Mo Manning image colored up with my prismas.  She's got her diamond tiara and diamond earrings on and a pearl necklace! Is she ready to go out or what?  Now,  not too many girls could pull off lavender and chartreuse, but she sure can!!  LOL

Here is the sketch:

Next up is the Less Is More Week#37 "Cocktail" challenge.  These cards must be one layer - so I embossed my Skipping Stones margarita stamp with black powder and quickly colored in using Distress Inks.   There is a 'glitter' salt rim, but it's hard to pick up on the picture.
The inside of the card says: "especially when the salt accompanies a drink and good friends."

Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!

Thanks for your visit!

Great cards, Maria! I am so smiling over the margarita card! Classy and fun all rolled into one. Love that sentiment. Love the coloring and glittered salt. And how adorable is that sassy Bella gal. She is definitely rocking the purple and chartreuse. You are truly amazing at coloring, my friend!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)

Great cards!!! Sounds wonderful to be outside and color, taking in the fall air and it sure worked your coloring and shading is great. Loving the lavender and chartreuse. The second card looks yummy and such a wonderful sentiment. Glad to hear about Lily, you never know she may just amaze you. I got news like for my cat and he lived another 3 years, the vet was believing in miracles at that point :) Prayers for your sweet puppy. Have a great weekend.

Love that little sassa-frass on the first card! Heehee! You really brought her to life with all of your fabulous coloring, too. Great color combo. The margarita card made me smile. That sentiment is sooo true! Hope you have a great weekend! :)

Both are wonderful! Love that image on the first card - and of course your beautiful coloring. I'm still thinking I need to make a road trip so you can teach me all you know about Prismas! Wouldn't that be fun!
The second card - CAS and super! I can already taste the margarita (with salt!)
