Dahlia Mother's Day

Here I am posting another 'new' stamp!!  This is a Papertrey Ink set.  I am definitely addicted to flowers!

I really didn't know what I was going to do with the card when I started but I stamped the dahlia in white ink in the corner and then was stumped.  I decided to grab my prisma pencils and color in the flower with highlights and then shadows.  I kept going back and forth with the pencils and am actually really happy with the result!

I used my rectangle template and traced around with my white gel pen and added the sentiment in white too!

So, that's about it!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your visit!

This is so pretty, love the CAS look, especially with the white and that flower is gorgeous! Well done and how much fun to have it develop as you go along :) Are you still having trouble with Blogger, I had to tell it post even though I had it scheduled for 1:30 AM, frustrating.

Wow! This is so striking, Maria! The coloring is just fabulous! Really love how the Prismas look with the colored cardstock the flower was stamped on.
