I started by heat embossing my H.A. chevron stamp in white on watercolor paper. I followed the Less Is More inspiration colors - (even though I can't enter this card in their challenge because there's not much "Less" in this card.) I used my Distress Inks and then spritzed each panel with water and Perfect Pearls.
I stamped the squirrel from a H.A. set and colored him in quick with my Distress Inks. The sentiment comes from a Studio G stamp. This card definitely looks better in person because of the glimmer. I know squirrels aren't known for "Easter" but if you saw how many there are in my neighborhood - you'd say he's pretty appropriate!!
Come and play at the Hero Arts blog and Flickr Group. Here's are the sketches:

I'm ALSO going to enter this in the "A Blog Named Hero" Challenge #1 - which is to make a project using your favorite Hero Arts stamps. Since I have so many - I'll be entering a bunch of cards!!
Hope you have a great day!!!
Thanks for your visit!

Very refreshing to see a squirrel, honestly instead of bunnies... Very lovely card and I am sure it shines in real life.

Very pretty and Easter-y:)
I like the squirrel and he can be for Easter, you never know maybe he helps the bunny. Love how you did the background, OK broken record, very creative of you.
