Hello!! I didn't think I was going to get a post in for today - but surprise - this card came together (relatively) quickly (about an hour!).
I wanted to play along with the Just Us GirlS challenge #132, which is to sponge a layer. Part of my hour to make this card was to figure out just what I was going to sponge! I decided to die cut a Memory Box heart border with masking paper.
I put the mask down along with another mask to protect the top of the card. Then I sponged a bunch of different Distress Inks. Then spritzed with water and perfect pearls for a beautiful shine! I removed the mask to reveal the white hearts.
I needed something to break up the rainbow, so I just cut a think piece of black cardstock. I used a Papertrey Ink sentiment and rainbow inked it, then added some bling! A nice and easy one layer card!
Here's the challenge if you want to play along!
Have a great day!!!
Thanks for your visit!
