Today I have two cards I'm showing on the blog. Both with the same stamp but colored with different mediums. I picked up this gorgeous Impression Obsession dogwood stamp at my LSS and since everything is blooming early here in CT - I thought they would make nice Easter Cards!
The first card follows the sketch from Papertake Weekly Challenges. I stamped with Memento Ink and colored with prisma pencils:
Most of the papers are from DCWV Citrus pack and I created the script background panel.
The second card is loosely based on last week's Mojo Monday sketch. It is embossed with black powder on water color paper and colored with Distress Inks and an aqua pen.
I stamped the dogwoods in London Fog for the sentiment panel because there was just TOO much white space there for me! This paper is from American Crafts. I used PTI's Easter sentiment on both too.
It was fun to use the same stamp with the different techniques. Both are much more vibrant in person.
Oh - and I used mini yellow microbeads to the center of the flowers.
Here's the Papertake Sketch:
Thanks for your visit!

Beautiful cards, love how you stamped and colored them two different ways, they look completely different. Loving the flowers stamped behind the sentiment. Love when everything is blooming, with the dogwoods and azaleas.

Holy cow, are these ever amazing! They both are so beautiful, and they look so different. I love the touch of the london fog blooms behind your sentiment on the last card.
Both so different, Maria. The first is bright and and the second one is toned down... both wonderful but the second one is my fave.
