RS#8 - OMG You're 50!

I'm finally getting to play along with the Retro Sketches blog! Yah!  This card is following Sketch # 8 and uses my new There She Goes banner dies & stamps.

When I looked at the sketch (below) - I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the three elements. I couldn't think of any 3 letter words (lots of 4 letter words came to mind trying to figure it out) - but I finally decided to go with 'text' language!   I used my Lawn Fawn alphabet on the card and a Verve cupcake that I paper pieced.

Can you identify that paper?  Yes - STILL using my DCWV Citrus Pack!  :)

You only have until tonight at 11:59pm to play along, but you could easily make a CAS card - so come on and play!

And - if you're interested............I FINALLY got to video Buddy when the fire trucks went by!  LOL.  Enjoy!

Thanks for your visit!

Maria, this card is too cute! Love the pennants! Oh, and the video of Buddy sounded so clear, my three dogs went into song, too! My 12 year old was right on! Thanks for sharing your babies! Blessings to you!

Maria I still break out my old DCWV Paper Packs as well! So glad you submitted your card in time! It's adorable—the banners are GREAT! I'm a dog lover so I really enjoyed your video of Buddy and your other dogs! I actually giggled out loud, it was so sweet hearing him howl at the siren!!!

OMG is it! The little banner is precious and love the DP you used on this cutie.
Cute video of Buddy.......I think maybe that truck hurt his fragile ears just a little!

How cute! What an adorable card, Maria! Love the text-style sentiment banners. So very fun!
And OMG, did Crissy ever get confused by your video. She was asleep under my chair until she heard Buddy....then she popped up and started looking all over to try to figure out where the commotion was coming from. :)

I really like this card. So clever to use the O-M-G as your 3 items. It fits so well with the "50". Great PP too.

OMG this is one fun card!! Love how you used the banners and seriously, they need to add your smiling face to the front of that citrus paper pack! You always make the most fun projects with that paper. I almost bought it last time I was out and about...but knew I couldn't do it justice. Love the video, too. Have a great rest of the weekend! Hugs! :)
