I started out heat embossing There She Goes buttercup images on watercolor paper and coloring with Distress inks. I added a few PTI leaves and a Hero Arts sentiment. I 'think' I'm going to go back and add some border dots.....the black is a bit too stark, but I'm still happy with the result.

I am so far behind on commenting......sorry, but the kitchen is done, I have discovered one thing, I'm to old for that kinda stuff LOL. Gorgeous card, love the yellow flower!
Very pretty Maria! Love the yellow and black and the little ruffled ribbon is darling! You have rocked that sketch!
I think all the black is great! Just beautiful with the yellow on here and love how you did the ribbon too.
Beautiful!

oh, wow! I LOVE this, Maria! So bold and graphic and beautiful. The black really makes the flowers POP! Gorgeous coloring. Love the ruffled trim under the sentiment, too.
So rich and elegant, Maria! I really like how the yellow pops off of the black background! Wow!

What sweet flowers, Maria! These were always one of my favourites from TSG :)
Beautiful! I think the ruffled ribbon softens the black beautifully.
