I needed a masculine birthday card, so I went through my papers and picked these Papertrey Ink ones. I also used the PTI Matt Stack 2 die and coordinating stamp and PTI birthday sentiment. I wanted to add a button, but since this is going in the mail, I didn't want the card to be too bulky, so I used my Sizzix button die in the shape of a heart and added it.
Pretty straightforward card :)

What a great card and great paper, prefect card for a guy. Love the banner look and the way you did the button, great idea. Sounds like you have a busy weekend with yard work and puppies. Hope you have some fun as well.
This is a cool masculine card, love the paper choices!
What a great masculine design. Love the tone-on-tone banner you used and love the paper button. Those PTI goodies get me every time, too. :)
