Hello!!!
A good friend and neighbor asked me to make a card for her to send to HER friend to celebrate 14 years of sobriety! What a glorious achievement and that's the kind of friend she is - that she would continuously encourage her friend.
Since the Verve sentiment is the main 'image', I decided to use a lot of texture on the card. I followed the Retro Sketches 22 layout and two Cuttlebug embossing folders. I embossed the sentiment with white powder and then added some score lines. You can't really see the texture on the button, but it is linen.
Here's the sketch:
Just a quickie post today - but I hope she's happy with it as well as the recipient!
Have a great day!
Thanks for your visit!

What a great friend she is to do this and I'm sure her friend will love the card! You always inspire me to pull out my embossing folders and powder, always so elegantly done.
How fun to be "commissioned" to create a card....This design is going to deliver smiles all around!
Fabulous sentiment and love all that embossing! What a great achievement to celebrate!
This is a wonderful reason to give a card to someone and know that your friend - and her friend - will cherish it!
So pretty with that navy color on here Maria and love all that texture too.
Fabulous!

Such a beautiful card and the color combo is so crisp! I'm sure our friend will enjoy sending this one off to continue encourage her friend on such a great achievement.
