I referred to two blogs before attempting these:
Just Short Of Crazy and Scissors and Spatulas
We were headed out to a birthday part last night - so I decided to give the host and hostess each a glass.
I typed up the instructions and AFTER taking the pictures - I tied a piece of chalk to "Tim's" glass.
Here's a close up of "Peg's" glass:
So - these were pretty easy to make......just time consuming. I decided to go with the chalkboard paint rather than the spray. It goes on REALLY thick so you really have to wait out the drip, drip, drip. I did use painter's tap along the bottom of the stem, but you still have to keep an eye on them and wipe off any drips.
I decided to do two coats as well and waited two days in between coats. I think these would be GREAT sellers at a craft fair - but sadly, Cindy and I won't be around for our fair this year. I still might make some more and try to sell them independently - or just give as gifts!
Cheers!
Thanks for your visit!

these are fantastic!!!!! You did good!
Those look wonderful Maria! I can see so many uses for that paint!
I've never seen these before and they're so cute! They'd make great gifts or like you said, craft fair items! Nice that you added the washing instructions too.

Love these!!
I hadn't seen these before. What a great idea! And yes, so perfect for a gift!
What a fun and unique idea! Love the idea that the names can be changed.
Cute! I have been thinking of trying these and just haven't gotten around to it. I am a bit lazy to have to hand wash them. (Maybe they'll be for gifts only....)
