I got some crafting time in last week and I put together a birthday card using my favorite Impression Obsession leaf stamp (you'll be seeing a lot of it used this week) and one of the new Kristina Werner stamp and die sets.
For the leaves - I used my Distress Markers and colored directly on the stamp using a variety of colors. Then I spritzed it with water and stamped on watercolor paper. I used the Sketch For You To Try September sketch for my layout.
Here are some pics from Saturday night! The Happy Couple!
My parents and us kids:
Frankie and I
and.......the cake fail:
Yup - that SHOULD of read "Dom and Lois" LOL
Have a great week!!!
Thanks for your visit!

LOL, cute wording, fantastic pictures!!
Your card is lovely, such pretty colors and I like how the leaves really stand out. Nice for this time of year. Great photos too and how funny is that cake!
Wonderful autumnal colors!! The split panel on the left with the overlapping circle is an eye-catching design element!
Love the design of the card... and such perfect colours for autumn...
The pictures are so happy and nice... thanks for sharing them. Your mom and dad look marvellous together and so do their kids.
Love,
Monica
I love your card! The leaves and colors are just gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing your pictures. It looks like it was a wonderful evening, even with the "cake fail".
Oh, too bad about the cake! For crying out loud! But it looks like it was a fabulous party. What a special time for your parents!
Love that card! You are rocking the leaves. Love the watercolor effect you got here with the markers.
Can't wait to see what else you do with those leaves. :)
Congratulations to your parents! My husband's parents celebrate theirs next year, planning a party already. I really like the watercolor affect on the card.
