HA October Challenge - Find Joy Everyday

I'm back today with another card I made for the Hero Arts October challenge.  This one might have a better chance at being chosen since I actually used Hero Arts stamps!

I just LOVE how the chevron stamp looks embossed on black cardstock. I will go back to this time and time again!  I embossed a HA poppy stamp with white powder and used my Distress Inks and daubers to color in. I used my Distress Markers for some fine line detailing.  Lastly, I embossed a HA sentiment.

Once again - here are the sketches if you want to play along!

Thanks for your visit!

First, good luck with the challenge and I agree, the black embossed chevron is stunning! Love it with the deep peach color and your flower is gorgeous. You deserve to win, I will tell them, I am sure that will have an impact...NOT!

That black on black looks like embossing - it pops. And what a clever idea to use a part of a stamp the way you did. Awesome colouring as well.

Love,
Monica

Wow, your coloring is amazing, I have been staring at your card for five minutes trying to figure out just "How did she do that?"

Oooh, this is beautiful! I love the colors. I think the black makes the other colors pop even more.
