SSS79 - Thinking of You

Sadly, I was in need of a sympathy this week for a friend's dad who passed away. I was looking through some sketch challenges to give me a boost and came across Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge#79 and decided to use that layout.

I created the background using two different Verve stamps and two different Memento Inks.  I used two Hero Arts sentiments as well.  I didn't want to overwhelm the card, although the flowers might be a bit too much anyway.

Here's the sketch if you want to try it:

Hope you have some fun plans for today!  TGIF!

Thanks for your visit!

No, I don't think the flowers overwhelm it at all, I think it is very tasteful but sorry you had to make one at all.

So sorry for your friend's loss! I know this beautiful card will be much appreciated! I really love how you did the sentiment, and I think the flowers are wonderful. Not too much at all! :)

It's so pretty Maria and think the flowers are fine on here. It's always so hard to do this type of card. I know it'll be appreciated!

It is a such a good take on the layout. The flowers are just fine - not overwhelming at all. Nice colours for the occasion as well.
