I really need to get a 6x6 pad of Xmas paper because the stuff I have is REALLY old and has no matching solid paper. So, I decided to grab my My Mind's Eye pad and use some non-traditional pinks and browns for this card:
I decided to pop up the scarf, and from the angle I took the shot, you can see under the pop up. Also - her beak became lost with the scarf popped up - so I ended up removing the pop ups closes to the beak and gluing that portion down to the base. It looks a whole lot better.
Ms. Penguin is colored with my prismas and gamsol. It feels like forever since I used them!

Awesome papers - love the paisleys. And the image is so cute.
My gosh, how adorable! And what fabulous coloring! I absolutely adore the shading you achieved on Ms. Penguin! The popped up scarf and glittery snow are wonderful, too, and I really like the happy pink papers you used. A fun twist on a holiday card!
I like the non traditional colors and I bet the popped up scarf looks even better irl. And how crossed are your eyes coloring all those little candy canes? Good luck again!
I would have never thought to use the DP with this image and somehow it just looks perfect! SO PRETTY!!! Love your coloring on here too Maria!

Oh gosh, this is so stinkin'cute! I love how you colored her and the non-traditional colors of the papers.
