Masculine Birthday cards

I've got a lot of male birthday's coming up - so I figured it was time to make some masculine birthday cards. I followed Clean & Simple Sketch #88 for the layouts - so that made quicker work of the cards.

I used Papertrey Ink - EVERYTHING for the two cards below. I started with their chocolate base and cream cardstock. I used the chocolate remix paper and one of the new impression plates. I finished it off with their Happy Birthday sentiment.

For this card - the only changes are the sentiment and I used the circles from their Borders&Corners Circle set.
Come to think of it - the ribbon isn't PTI - but I was at about 95% PTI for these cards!
Thanks for stopping in!

Just lovely! The cream and brown is so wonderfully classic and that ribbon - too rich for words.

Aren't we the early morning bloggers? Thank you for all your sweet comments on my blog. I appreciate them.

I love these cards. Great cards for men. Clean, simple, great color choice. I love that texture plate you used. I am going to have to look into getting that.

Have a wonderful day!

These are wonderful masculine cards! Although...I think they could be used for either gender! The embossing on the first one is fabulous, but I just love the stamped circles/sentiment on the second one! Great job with the sketch!
