Birthday 3-D Pumpkin

Just a quick post because I forgot to set this up at a reasonable time!!!  My cousin Carl celebrated his birthday mid-September, but came up from D.C. to CT last weekend, so I was able to give him his birthday 'card' - if you can call it that!

I saw this pumpkin on Aly's blog through Tip Junkie and knew I wanted to make it for him.

I punched out about 10 orange scallop circles and stamped them with a Hero Arts plaid stamp.  Then I folded each of the circles in half and glued them to one another.  Before gluing the last two together, I cut out a piece of felt for the stem and put it in the middle.

I then cut out some Sizzix leaves and stamped them with a leaf stamp. I attached them to some ribbon, attached to the stem and made a Sizzix label with a PTI sentiment.

I also gave him some notecards I made using some fall stickers and a few take-out boxes with pumpkins cut out - so a nice fall theme!

Still not feeling 100%. Went to the Dr. and he told me the virus would have to work it's way out itself.  (Seriously? I wanted some drugs!!).  So, I'll give it a few more days.  Then I gotta get back to working out!!!

Thanks for your visit!

So sorry to hear you're still feeling bad. Those darn flus are so hard to get rid of. hang in there!

I hope you feel better soon!!Too bad, there aren't any drug for viruses!! You just have to treat you symptoms. (Sorry, it's the nurse in me!!)

What a cool card!!

Um, yeah, doc, I know I have a virus. Do you think I dragged myself out of bed just to have you confirm that? Now hand over the good stuff!
