Here's a card I made today for SCS Faux Handmade Paper Challenge! I was a bit apprehensive to try this technique - but seeing that I had all the "ingredients" - I decided to try the 'challenge' - that's the point right?
I used blue, green and yellow acrylic paints on cardstock. I "pounced" the colors with toilet paper and then finished it with a metallic acrylic blue. I used Sizzix Flower die to cut out two flowers, molded the petals and used pop dots to raise them up. Then finished off the flower with a button. I also wrapped cardstock with tinfoil and ran it through the Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder for some more metallic feel. A touch of ribbon and a Cuttlebug tag with MFT sentiment.
