FTL 77 - OWH Cards

We got a HUGE dumping of snow on Wednesday so after Cindy and I finished walking the dogs at the CT Humane Society - I came home and was able to make a bunch more cards to send off to Operation Write Home for our soldiers!

I went to the Clean & Simple blog and used the FTL77 Sketch! It's really a great one for banging out a few cards!
For my first card - I used American Crafts paper and some ribbon I got from Costco a while back. My mother had bought me a few foam stamps at one point - so I inked it up with Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters and stamped in the corner. Then I took an Autumn Leaves scroll stamp and laid that over the green stamp. I finished it up with a Hero Arts sentiment.
For the next two cards I used some more Costco ribbon and matched it up with Papertrey Inks "Floral Fusion" set. I dotted the flowers with glitter pen - although you can't really tell in my picture and I used PTI's polka dot stamp on the pink paper.

I was able to make 12 of these cards today for the soldiers! I actually made another card - but I'll post that one next! Stay Tuned!
Thanks for visiting today!

I love how the images go off the corner of the paper. Thanks for reminding me what a nice clean look that creates.
